The most asked recipe on my Instagram page – Garlic Butter Mushrooms!
These mushrooms are insanely addictive! With minimal ingredients, this recipe is ready in no time. Certainly, it is the side dish everyone will love.
Not just as a side dish, but I have it as an appetizer too and it goes along well with a glass of rosé. Moreover, the garlic butter sauce is so good, you can use it as a spread for your toasted bread!
Though mushrooms are not in season right now in the midwest, I love to have them throughout the year, whenever I find good ones at the store. In other words, all the mushroom lovers, this is going to be your next favorite dish.

Garlic Butter Mushrooms
Description
This recipe is gluten-free and vegetarian. I prefer whole mushrooms when I want to use them as an appetizer and sliced ones for a side dish. Make sure you are using fresh mushrooms as they bring out their original flavor, while canned mushrooms can make this dish taste a little different. Also, while sautéing keep the flame low cuz we don’t want the burnt garlic flavor.
Ingredients
Directions
-
Wash and dry mushrooms. Take the stems out.
-
Heat butter in a pan/skillet on a low flame until it melts (it shouldn’t turn dark brown).
-
Add minced garlic and sauté well in the butter for 1 minute.
-
Add grated parmesan, salt & pepper and mix together to form the sauce.
-
Toss mushrooms into the sauce and let them cook for 3-4 minutes.

Turn off the flame and garnish the mushrooms with parsley. Serve!
