Uptown Charlotte has so many amazing restaurants. Isn’t it a big confusion to decide where to eat? Especially when you wanna explore the area in just a day! Here are affordable and amazing places to eat in the center of the Queen City that I loved during my trip to NC!
Starting off the day with a warm cup of latte is always a great idea! And Not Just Coffee is perfect for that morning kick. They serve the best coffee in the uptown area.
Just like their name says, this local spot is much more than just about coffee. You just can’t miss their waffles and avocado toast. Their Vanilla Latte will make you want to visit them again.
After the happy breakfast, when you will be hungry, taking a stroll around the streets of Charlotte around noon, The 7th Street Public Market is the place to head to.
The Market’s mission is to celebrate the food culture of the Carolinas and promote local and regional farmers, food artisans, and entrepreneurs. Here, you will enjoy high quality, fresh and affordable food, as well as shop local products by the vendors, if that interests you.

Early evening, for a little snacking, have a burger or gyro by this local food truck Halal Gyro Man along Tyron St. They serve a good variety of handcrafted gyros, burgers, rice & salad bowls!
Check out their menu and you will be drooling already! Their fresh ingredients make their food very flavorful and authentic.
By the end of the day, when you are looking for that glass of Margarita, Sabor will definitely quench your thirst along with a very scrumptious Latin dinner.
I literally had food from this place twice! That is how much I loved it! Their empanadas, tacos, fries, everything was the best! Don’t forget to ask for their Rosada if you love spicy. Believe me, it is one of the best salsas I have ever tasted.
Their Margaritas are gonna give a happy end to your day!
