Chicago is one of the best food cities in the USA. Having said that, the suburbs will impress you no less. You could be in the suburbs for many reasons – living, working, shopping or simply, eating!
Wondering where to eat in Chicago suburbs? Here are my personal recommendations. Most of these places are located in the north-west region of Chicagoland.
From breakfast to beers, you have it all here!
1. EGGSPERIENCE – Multiple Locations
If you are someone who likes breakfast spreads, this is the spot you would want to have brunch at for your Saturday hangover! Eggsperience is located in multiple locations. You can just grab a seat at your nearest one! Do try their Vanilla Latte.
2. ZENWICH – Elmhurst, Aurora
A top rated joint for the best Asian Fusion Sandwiches in Chicagoland area. Your lunch for the day is sorted! Every thing on their menu is fab! Especially their Rice Paper Wraps and Seasoned Fries!
3. MYKONOS – Niles
A lovely restaurant for authentic Greek cuisine in an atmosphere reminiscent of the lovely Greece. A beautiful spot for your lunch date. You must try their Kabobs for sure!
4. BAHAMA BREEZE ISLAND GRILLE – Schaumburg
The best place for fancy cocktails and tropical food! Hands down best cocktails in the burbs! Doesn’t this Ultimate Pineapple Frozen Cocktail look bomb?
5. NORTH BRANCH – Glenview
A local restaurant serving American scratch‑made fare that has 💯delicious food! Do not miss their Blackened Chicken Sandwich!
6. GOLDEN BRUNCH – Arlington Heights
Prefer brunch over dinner? This is the place. Their Strawberry Cheesecake Crepes are the best!
7. LA MICHOACANA – Multiple Locations
My most favorite ice-cream parlor for freshly made popsicles! Love their Watermelon and Coconut flavors!
8. CHUY’S – Orland Park
My most favorite restaurant for some delicious Tex‑Mex food. Like it spicy? Their Boom Boom Sauce will make you crave it till days later!
9. BOMBAY CHOPSTICKS – Naperville, Hoffman Estates
A restaurant that serves the best Indo‑Chinese food! Their Vegetable Steamed Momos (dumplings) make me drool!
10. TORINO RAMEN – Wilmette
A Japanese spot serving amazing Ramen bowls. Their Veggie Miso is just perfect!
11. CORTLAND’S GARAGE – Arlington Heights
A great place for burgers and beers! Their Cortland Street Burger is really popular!
12. ADOBE GILAS – Rosemont
My go-to spot for a Friday night in the burbs! You will be obsessed with their fancy Margaritas!
Now that indoor dining is open again in Illinois, a plenty of restaurants have limited capacity dine-in open. With proper safety measures, do explore these restaurants!!
